Blind Tiger Dames - Nashville Vaudville

The Blind Tiger Dames was created by Sunny Becks and Laura Matula. The group is a unique vaudvillian music and performance troupe that incorporates live music, acrobatics, theatre, and dance into their elaborate productions. Their newest and latest production “Du Val De Vire” is going to be showing at the Belcourt Theatre in Nashville, Tennessee for ONE NIGHT ONLY. This is a special performance and will surely be loved by all who get to attend and sorely missed by all of those who were unable to see it. If you are interested in finding out more, visit the website first - blindtigerdames.com and from there you can link up with their twitter page and their facebook group page. Here are a couple of snapshots from the site. Also, every week, ANTHONYMATULA is creating a new poster featuring one of the members of the group from this current show. The photography was done by Jo McCaughey. I will post all of the posters in a later post.

JOMCCAUGHEY.com is now live!

ANTHONYMATULA recently launched jomccaughey.com. This site will develop over time but until december 6th it is a ad for an upcoming exhibition she has in London. It is called “Kings of Leon - 10 Year Reign.” It will feature photography from the band over the last 10 years. Here is a quick excerpt from www.proud.co.uk -
“In celebration of their 10th year Proud Camden presents King’s of Leon as they’ve never been seen before.

Profiling the band from its Tennessean beginnings right up until its present multi award-winning status, Proud Camden will examine this musically gifted family through the photographic work of up-and-coming music photographer Jo McCaughey.

Photographer, friends and now neighbour to the Followill clan, McCaughey’s photographs expose both the private and the public face of the Kings of Leon as they embark on the rise to meteoric fame.

Creative with redpepper and Street Theatre Company

A couple of weeks ago ANTHONYMATULA was asked by Street Theatre Company (STC) to assist in the creative development process that originated from STC being chosen as a non-profit organization in need of creative services by redpepper. Every year, redpepper comes together for a 24 hour, round the clock blitz, called CreateAthon and works on the non-profit companies that were chosen. Here are some shots from the Street Theatre presentation. Click here to read more about the event.

Those guys at Third Man Records are at it again. They have just recently opened “The Vault.” Make sure to read the “Declaration of Principles” first. Full of helpful information and a bit of wit.
