Wordle : Having Fun with Word Clouds

In searching for a tag cloud generator, I found this really creative word cloud generator.
About Wordle :

Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends.

Blind Tiger Dames - Nashville Vaudville

The Blind Tiger Dames was created by Sunny Becks and Laura Matula. The group is a unique vaudvillian music and performance troupe that incorporates live music, acrobatics, theatre, and dance into their elaborate productions. Their newest and latest production “Du Val De Vire” is going to be showing at the Belcourt Theatre in Nashville, Tennessee for ONE NIGHT ONLY. This is a special performance and will surely be loved by all who get to attend and sorely missed by all of those who were unable to see it. If you are interested in finding out more, visit the website first - blindtigerdames.com and from there you can link up with their twitter page and their facebook group page. Here are a couple of snapshots from the site. Also, every week, ANTHONYMATULA is creating a new poster featuring one of the members of the group from this current show. The photography was done by Jo McCaughey. I will post all of the posters in a later post.

Dear Zachary : A letter to a son about his father

Being a designers and a “creatives” we are typically drawn to things that are visually appealing and aesthetically pleasing. I am very much that way when it comes to many things, and one in particular is movie covers or poster campaigns. Yes, it is a bit “judging a book(movie) by it’s cover” but I have discovered incredible movies that I may have otherwise never watched, lest they had a different cover. One in particular I recently discovered while flipping through Netflix was a movie entitled “Dear Zachary : A letter to a son about his father.” What an incredibly captivating documentary! With not knowing much about this film, I watched from the first minute to the last in complete suspense. My recommendations : 1. Watch this movie. 2. Try not to read anything about it prior to watching it. Let the film unfold itself for you.
Here is the poster created by Evan B. Harris.
